How Large is the Dining Hall?

First, we need to build a dining hall to accommodate all 7.5 billion of us. Please ask the audience how large should the dining hall be?

For a fast food regulation compliant dining hall at 12 square feet per person, the hall needs to be around 60 miles on a side to host 7.5 Billion people. For an upscale restaurant setting at 20 square feet per person, it would need to be around 80 miles on a side.

When 7.5 Billion people come together for a meal, at current birth and death rates, around 135,000 babies are born during/after each meal and 55,000 people die during/after each meal. Therefore, the human population increases by about 80,000 people between meals.
