Save the Animals, Save the Earth
Denise Bitz
Paul Berry

Save the Animals, Save the Earth (StAStE) is a global campaign organized by Brother Wolf Animal Rescue (BWAR) of Asheville, North Carolina, to address the environmental crises on Earth. BWAR organized StAStE in response to their finding that the increasing incidences of animal rescues that BWAR is called to do will only get more frequent and more intense if we don't address the root cause of these environmental catastrophes.

BWAR has identified Global Animal Agriculture (GAAg) as the "Keystone" human activity underpinning the mainstream egocentric consumer culture of normalized violence. If this activity is eliminated, it would engender a reversal of this culture towards our vision of a eco-centric, life-enriching culture of normalized nonviolence.
